Just a small part of the Team
On the weekend of 20/21st March 2010, myself and fellow photographer Mark Pearson organised a charity weekend for Photographers at Chevin Country Hotel & Spa, Otley, West Yorkshire. The hotel support was fantastic and the weekend involved a hectic schedule. During the day on the Saturday we had two top trainers, Martin Grahame-Dunn and Paul Haley spend the day teaching 'How to find and use the light'. Sounds easy, it's not at all but a critical part of our profession. Thanks must go to our patient models, Jenny, Liam and Nathalie for their patience. In the evening we had a fund raising evening with disco, full event studio, raffle, auction and a very special Guest of Honour, Mr Simon Brown. Simon was shot in the face by a sniper in Iraq and his story that he told us was an inspiration to us all and made us realise how lucky we are sometimes.

On the Sunday morning it was off to The Image Mill Studio for a session on Studio lighting by Phil Andrew. Then back to the Hotel for a training session run by Zoe Richards of Dovecote Training and finally Sean O'Brien and Mark Pearson imparted their knowledge of business and Marketing.

The total raised for the weekend was over £1500 and we cant thank enough all those that took Part including the generous sponsors who kindly donated prizes and they, along with a few images can be found on my blog.
